Key Responsibilities:

1. Receive and review invoices from vendors for accuracy and completeness.
2. Code and enter invoices into the accounting system for payment processing.
3. Reconcile invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents to ensure accuracy.
4. Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments to vendors.
5. Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies.
6. Maintain vendor records and files, including W-9 forms and payment terms.
7. Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals and account reconciliations.
8. Generate accounts payable reports and analyze spending trends.

A/R

Key Responsibilities:

1. Generate and distribute customer invoices accurately and on time.
2. Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue invoices.
3. Contact customers via phone, email, or mail to collect outstanding balances.
4. Negotiate payment plans and settlements with delinquent customers.
5. Record customer payments in the accounting system and reconcile accounts receivable ledger.
6. Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes with customers.
7. Prepare and send periodic statements to customers for account reconciliation.
8. Work closely with sales, customer service, and finance teams to resolve customer issues and improve collections processes.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
2. 1-2 years of experience in accounts receivable/accounts payable or related financial role.
3. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite. (Business Central 365 a plus)
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
6. Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
7. Manufacturing Experience a plus.
8. Logistics experience a plus.
