Position: Kennel Tech
About Us: We are looking for new team members to join our Countryside Boarding Kennel Team. As a Kennel Tech, you will be an integral part of our operation, ensuring the well-being and happiness of our boarding clients' dogs.
Responsibilities:
- Clean the kennel buildings and outdoor areas
- Feed and medicate our boarding clients
- Perform laundry and dishwashing duties
- Keep track of supplies needing ordering
- Assist kennel managers with various tasks
Requirements:
- Comfortable with and love dogs
- Available full-time or part-time mornings until midday or early afternoons
- Detail-oriented and enjoy cleaning and organizing
- Mature, reliable, and punctual
- Have a vehicle that can manage snowy roads to ensure you can make it to work in winter conditions
Things to Know:
- Some days are calm and manageable, while others can be very busy
- We work all holidays and weekends because that is when our clients need us the most
- We pay time and a half on most holidays and try to finish work early on holidays so everyone can go home and celebrate with their families
- Summer and holiday periods provide opportunities for overtime
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift greater than 50lbs
- Must be able to climb a fence with footholds
- Frequent bending and squatting
- Must be on your feet all day
