Evac Group is Hiring a Project Engineer Near Pembroke, FL
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team in Hollywood, FL, to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and the highest quality of our deliverables.
Key Responsibilities: As an Evac Project Engineer, you will oversee the technical project scope for our delivery projects. Your primary duties include:
- Translating project-specific requirements to internal and external partners to ensure the Evac solution meets contractual obligations.
- Ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of project engineering materials.
- Coordinating with the Project Manager to manage various project elements, including engineering design, quality planning, manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and final buy-off phases.
- Managing the project engineering budget and maintaining regular follow-ups and reporting.
- Leading technical discussions with customers during project execution.
- Providing local support and coordinating local activities related to project management and engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business, preferably in machine, process, electrical, or automation engineering, or a related professional background.
- 3-5 years of experience in project engineering or a similar role, ideally within the Marine or Offshore industry.
- Ability to operate independently in a virtual environment under remote leadership across time zones.
- Experience in engineering process equipment, process knowledge, and electrical/automation.
- Proven track record in managing the technical scope of projects and systematic communication with customer technical teams.
- Ability to instruct design teams and review their work, meeting demanding project schedules.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Experience with retrofit or service projects is a plus.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time, including onboard surveys and customer visits.
