    Program Location: Culver Family Learning Center
    Program Dates:
    Program Hours: 7:45am - 11:15am - (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
    Salary: EVSC teachers receive regular hourly rate.
    Education: Bachelors in Education from an NCATE approved program; license in content area
    (Staffing may be impacted by number of eligible students in each attendance area.)
    Requirements:
      Experience in modifying curriculum to meet the needs of special education students with cognitive and physical disabilities
      Proficiency in creating hands on activities and visual supports for students with varying degrees of cognitive and physical disabilities
      Proficiency in creating curriculum using assistive technology to meet the unique needs of special education students
      Willingness to utilize drama techniques for social skills training
      Prefer music teaching experience
      Experience with physical education, adaptive physical education or physical therapy
      Willingness to assist with feeding, lifting, restroom, and mobility needs
    Vision for Summer Experience
    EVSC Special Education Summer School will provide education, social and daily living skills, music, art, technology and gross motor skills programming for students with cognitive and physical needs. Each teacher will be responsible for one area of instruction.
      Evidence based practices for special education students will be utilized in all areas of instruction.
      Students will participate in theme-based instruction and community outings designed to increase social and communication skills.
