Job Description
Job Summary:
The role of the Financial Administrator is essential in our organization to ensure various systems work together as designed for functionality as well as financial recognition. This position is responsible for understanding multiple software systems, training various departments, and ensuring they are used properly. This position will need to understand the basics of finance allowing them to partner with the Controller to ensure all the financial transactions are tied to the proper GL codes in the various systems. Contribute to the company's financial transparency by preparing accurate and balanced financial reports. As the owner of multiple databases, ensuring the quality of data is your top priority. Data must be accurate, cleaned up as needed and healthy across systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing the preparation, analysis, and review of SF financial statements (monthly, quarterly, and annual)
  • Ensuring the accuracy of financial data and reports
  • Performing technical accounting research
  • Communicating financial information to executives and other departments
  • Support and maintain database applications, system tuning, performance monitoring and database maintenance. Will also develop and/or modify existing programs and custom reports for users.
  • Develop processes for optimizing usage of systems.
  • Make recommendations for improving system operation.
  • Trouble shooting front-end and back-end issues as they arise.
  • Collate, prepare, and present database statistics.
  • Create data integrity reports to identify errors and supervise the correction of the data.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and automated processes to ensure the efficient flow of data, smooth integration between and among systems, and the confidentiality and security of constituent information.
  • Provide guidance on best practices, standards, policies, and procedures for data entry, staff training, and data security.
  • Provide training and support to personnel using the database system, answer questions, demonstrate utilization methods and research information needed by staff so that staff can use the database system effectively in the performance of their jobs.
  • Investigate and identify reported problems with the system, coordinate solutions with the software vendor as needed, to ensure smooth system operations.
  • Monitor database for functional use and availability of tools to optimize staff performance, i.e., security issues, KPIs, reports and queries, dashboards, etc.
  • Responsible for global changes, clean ups, and database appending procedures.
  • Have expertise in creating reports, maintaining reports, dashboards and producing database queries.

  2. Attend and actively participate in weekly supervisory meetings and processes
  3. Participate in agency-wide in-service training programs
  4. Participate in agency-wide special event programming
  5. Participate in agency program registrations as required
  6. Monthly program staff meetings
  7. Work on site at ERJCC
Qualifications
  1. Excellent project management skills and a positive attitude
  2. Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, and handle and prioritize simultaneous requests
  3. Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  4. Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with all levels of the organization
  5. Ability to critically evaluate and prioritize information gathered from multiple sources and reconcile conflicts
  6. A documented history of successful project completion
  7. A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex processes
  8. Strong Salesforce interest and ability to quickly master new technology
  9. Minimum two years of experience in accounting or a financial position
  10. Expertise in PC environment and Microsoft Office
  11. Passion for the mission of the ERJCC preferred
  12. Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work with constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
