We are actively seeking a Business Analyst to join our Business Analytics team. This position is based at our Store Support Center located in Park City, Utah

THE POSITION

As a Business Analyst, you will leverage Event Network data to identify critical business-driving insights. You will work with business leaders across the organization to understand challenges and opportunities and then design and build analyses, models, and reports to drive results. You’ll be a member of an Analytics team that is intensely curious and collaborative, loves building something new and better, and is determined to increase the ROI of Event Network data.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Design ad hoc analysis to evaluate performance, identify opportunities, and enhance critical decision-making.
• Analyze complex data sets, structured and unstructured, and use predictive modeling techniques that provide insights for forecasting, store operations, and purchasing teams.
• Design Power BI dashboards and Excel reports to highlight what’s most critical to drive the business.

Skills / Qualifications:

• 5 years of data analytics experience, preferably in the retail industry
• Advanced degree in economics, business analytics, statistics, or related field preferred
• Demonstrated success in applying predictive modeling techniques outside an academic setting
• Expert in Excel
• Advanced in SQL, SSRS, R, Python, or comparable analytic tools
• Proficient in Power BI or comparable data visualization tools
• Proven ability to proactively enhance processes, tools, and analytics
• Track record of preparing high-quality, accurate deliverables
• Proven ability to translate business challenges, questions, and user needs into analysis design and translate data into insights and recommendations
• Deep intellectual curiosity and problem-solving skills
• Strong time management and prioritization
• Excellent communication skills
