**Eventide** Senior Living in **Fargo ND** is currently seeking a full time **Culinary / Restaurant Coordinator**. Shifts will vary between 8am-5pm and 10am-7pm during the week, with every other weekend being 10am-7pm. There is a holiday rotation required.

If you have experience as a Cook Supervisor, Dietary Manager, Dietary Supervisor, Restaurant Supervisor, Restaurant Manager, or Nutrition Supervisor, this position may be for you!

The position is responsible for the day to day operations of the kitchen, cooking quality meals, preparing and/or directing the preparation of food to be served to tenants complying with all applicable sanitation, health and personal hygiene standards and following established food production procedures. In addition, the Culinary / Restaurant Coordinator, assists in nurturing a team environment that provides exceptional customer service while ensuring that all staff perform at a consistently high level. The position also works towards motivating employees, instilling accountability and achieving results to drive success.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

* Prepares high quality meals according to standardized recipes while using and directing the use of accurate portion control standards.

* Monitors the entire dining experience to ensure resident satisfaction of meal service.

* Supervises staff and overall function within dining room throughout meal times and through day-to-day functions within the kitchen and dining room by assuring all dining assistants and cooks understand expectations and are held accountable.

* Ensures that the all dining rooms, kitchen, kitchenettes, and storage areas are clean and sanitized.

* Checks all menus daily to verify that all necessary items are prepared as needed.

* Checks temperatures of food products and documents in temperature log. Stores leftovers properly according to food handling standards

* Follows food safe protocols by ensuring that food is stored, labeled, and handled appropriately.

* Operates equipment in a correct, safe, sanitary, and respectful manner.

* Inventories and orders food products; ensuring adequate inventory of items on hand.

* Placing all food and beverage orders accurately and on-time while assuring cost-effectiveness in the products being ordered.
