Job Title: Director of Physical Therapy
Overview:
As the Director of Physical Therapy, you will lead and oversee our physical therapy department, ensuring the highest quality of patient care and operational excellence. You'll be responsible for managing a team of physical therapists, setting departmental goals, and implementing strategies to enhance therapeutic services.
Responsibilities:
1. Leadership and Management:
- Provide strategic leadership to the physical therapy department.
- Supervise and mentor a team of physical therapists and support staff.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
- Conduct performance evaluations and facilitate professional development.
2. Clinical Oversight:
- Maintain high standards of patient care and treatment protocols.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in physical therapy.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient treatment plans.
3. Administrative Duties:
- Manage departmental budgets, resources, and equipment procurement.
- Oversee scheduling, staffing, and workflow optimization.
- Prepare reports on departmental performance and outcomes.
4. Quality Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of treatment programs.
- Implement quality assurance measures to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT).
- Licensed Physical Therapist with PA License.
- Proven experience (3 years) in a clinical or leadership role within physical therapy managing multiple clinics.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in relevant software and technology used in therapy settings.
- Experience building a brand.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Board-certified specialist in a specific area of physical therapy.
- Experience in a managerial or directorial capacity within a healthcare setting.
- Demonstrated success in improving clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
- Experience with implementing new programs or services within a healthcare environment.
- Bilingual is preferred.
- Marketing and Sales experience.
