Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments and provide primary care services
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests such as sonography
- Prescribe medications and administer treatments
- Provide patient education on health promotion and disease prevention
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Provide critical care interventions as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in PA
- Master's degree in Nursing with specialization as a Nurse Practitioner
- Experience working in primary care or critical care settings
- Proficiency in medication administration and knowledge of drug interactions
- Strong clinical skills and ability to perform gastric lavage if necessary
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide compassionate patient care
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical judgments
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in an urgent care setting.
