The Fac Property Team of Everest Reinsurance Company, a member of the Everest Re Group, Ltd. is looking for a Technical Assistant II-Cat Modeler to join our Warren, NJ/New York City, NY office or Chicago, IL office
Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Run and analyze catastrophe models and price a significant volume of reinsurance contracts.
• Review and interpret reinsurance submissions.
• Responsible for quality assurance of data and scrub when necessary.
• Interact with underwriters and provide analytical support on contracts.
• Work on improving and automating modeling workflow

Qualifications, Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in either computer science, risk management or actuarial science or related field is preferred.
• 2 years of experience in Reinsurance industry or Cat modeling preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic.

• Strong collaboration & Teamwork skills

For NYC Only: The base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $87,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location.
