Auditorium Manager

Position Summary:

The Auditorium Manager oversees the operation and maintenance of the District’s Auditorium, arts facilities, equipment, and access to the facility by the District and community use in accordance with the District’s educational standards and policies. Serves as the primary technical staff person for scheduled performance and facility functions.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Schedule use of the Auditorium for the District. 
  • Manage scheduling of all auditorium events.
  • Oversee and execute the marketing of Auditorium rental and usage and execute the rental of the facility by outside groups.
  • Act as a liaison between the District and all rental clients.
  • Act as liaison between District and professional companies providing technical services for school productions.
  • Provide technical support for theatre, music, dance, and all other events in the Auditorium.
  • Act as stage manager for incoming events that require one.
  • Setup and maintenance of all technical systems for the theatre.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and experience serving in a managerial or coordination role for a Theater or Performing Arts facility. 
  • Excellent customer service skills. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work well under pressure. 
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays for performances and facility rentals.
