Job Title: Legal Counsel
Location: Remote, USA
The PositionEverfox is a provider of commercial products and services to the Federal government, foreign governments and commercial customers. As Legal Counsel, you’ll play a pivotal role in safeguarding our organization’s legal interests. Your responsibilities will include providing expert advice, navigating complex legal challenges, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Your strategic insights will guide critical decisions, and your ability to balance legal risks with business objectives will be essential.

The actual salary offered may vary within the range based on a candidates' unique experience, locale, and business needs. In addition to a base salary and bonus plans, Everfox offers a generous benefits package including flexible PTO, a 401k match, and contribution to healthcare coverages. What You'll Be Doing
- Partnering with Everfox business clients to review, interpret, draft, revise, and negotiate commercial and government contracts.
- Building productive internal and external professional relationships to find creative solutions and facilitate Everfox’s fulfillment of desired organizational objectives.
- Collaborating closely with various internal stakeholders to advise and strategize on business and legal issues as they arise.
- Working with various business teams to develop, assess, and refine internal policies and procedures to achieve efficiencies and legal compliance across Everfox’s global organization.
- Identifying and analyzing issues that require escalation to appropriate subject matter experts and effectively facilitating their engagement.
- Recognizing and performing other duties and projects as needed and assigned.
- J.D. from an accredited institution.
- State Bar member in good standing and eligible to practice.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience.
- Ability to effectively organize, prioritize, and manage multiple assignments.
- Ability to work across all levels of the organization (both internal/company and external/customer).
- Highly motivated; must be proactive and work independently with minimal oversight.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Effective team member; conduct clear, concise, and frequent communication with stakeholders.
- Experience with privacy and security matters relating to technology transactions.
- Knowledge of FAR, DFARS and other U.S. government customer regulations.
- Knowledge of Import/Export (ITAR/EAT) and other trade compliance regulations.
