POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, facilitating equipment as needed.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Dispatches available equipment as needed to the different branches upon their request and approval from the Automation SME Manager.
• Determines equipment condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests, identifying worn and damaged parts.
• Prevent, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair the different equipment in order to maximize safety and utilization and reduce equipment rental.
• Be willing to learn the maintenance of different equipment in the different fields of industrial services.
• Maintains daily contact with the Automation SME Manager to ensure that the repairs and plans for the equipment are being developed and executed properly.
• Interacts with vendors as necessary or directed.
• Assists in tracking and documentation of preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Actively participates in safety meetings.
• Inventories, orders, stocks and issues equipment parts and chemicals to ensure they are available when needed.
• Obtains purchase orders as needed to replenish stock or replace parts.
• Performs on call duty as necessary.
• Be willing to obtain different licenses and certifications as needed.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Pass a medical and drug test.
• Physically capable of performing all duties and responsibilities assigned.
• Specifically, lift 50 pounds.

QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent strongly desired. Must be at least 18 years of age.
