Job Title: Asset Protection & Risk/Safety Data Entry Clerk *Temporary position, expiration 10/17/2024 Salary: $19.97 Job Summary Responsible for providing support to the Loss Prevention department by record keeping, data entry, handling daily correspondence processing ID badges, special projects and achieving department objectives. Essential Functions: Assist Support Specialist with incoming reports, correspondence, filing and ordering various supplies. Input files into database in a timely manner. Establish, organize, and maintain files and records and ensure that all documents are properly maintained and accounted for. Sucessfully resolve routine administrative problems and answer inquires. Assist with safety committee(s) and other safety team activities including preparing reports, meeting minutes, and tracking and issuing safety incentives. Prepare all OSHA logs and other safety data reports in a timely manner. Create ID badges and reprints as requested in timely manner. As needed, program lock/unlock schedules via appropriate Loss Prevention software. Meet all timelines for assigned projects. Demonstrate safe work practices through awareness and observation in support of a safety culture; reports any potential hazards or accidents. Provide excellent internal and external customer service. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Administrative Certificate, Associates degree. Experience: Minimum 2 years administrative experience, preferably in Loss Prevention, Risk/Safety or retail. Specific Skills/Knowledge/Licenses: Must be proficient in English language (speaking, reading, writing) to respond to Loss Prevention and Risk/Safety related incidents and to prepare written communications. Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality in the receipt and distribution of sensitive information. Must be able to work flexible schedule. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Preferred knowledge of working with databases. Type a minimum of 45 WPM. Essential Physical Abilities: Able to safetly lift/push/pull up to 15lbs. for short distances. Perform repetitive fine motor functions with fingers, wrists, and arms. Able to traverse a wide variety of physical enviroments without assistance including uneven surfaces and stairs. Ability to work in cramped areas/small spaces. Able to communicate with others effectively, verbally and in writing; including those who have limited English skills, large groups and smalls groups and individuals. Able to use standard office equipment without assistance. Able to maintain reliable attendance.
