We are in search of an experienced Regional Nurse Consultant to support our Skilled Nursing Facilities.

Locations Include:

• Katy, TX
• Houston, TX
• Port Lavaca, TX

Position Overview

• Auditing and performance measurement reviews for assigned facility.
• Responsible for supporting the Director of Nursing and Nursing team at assigned facility.
• Support the Director of Nursing with the provision of quality and appropriate resident/patient care that meets or exceeds company and regulatory standards.
• Schedule and perform rounds to monitor and evaluate the quality and appropriateness of nursing care.
• Assist in Development and implementation of the written staffing plan and nursing schedule that reflects the needs of the resident and patient population.
• Assist with evaluating current and potential residents and patients to determine and maintain the facility’s ability to provide an appropriate level of care.
• Monitor, perform, and manage quality assurance processes including those supporting compliance to regulatory and/or accreditation standards.
• Function as a clinical resource to the nursing administration team at assigned facility.
• Provide training to staff nurses to promote performance improvement, as needed.
• Assist with developing performance improvement plans post-survey, if necessary.
• Maintains confidentiality and always protects sensitive Protected Health Information (PHI).

Education and Experience Requirements

• Active and unencumbered Texas RN license
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a Long-Term or Skilled Nursing setting in a clinical consultant and/or Director of Nursing role.
• Prior experience as a Regional Nurse Consultant highly desired.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of products.
• Availability to be onsite at facility Monday - Friday required.

Job Types: Full-time, Travel nursing

Pay: $90,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
