POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, facilitating equipment as needed.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Dispatches available equipment as needed to the different branches upon their request and approval from the Automation SME Manager.
- Determines equipment condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests, identifying worn and damaged parts.
- Prevent, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair the different equipment in order to maximize safety and utilization and reduce equipment rental.
- Be willing to learn the maintenance of different equipment in the different fields of industrial services.
- Maintains daily contact with the Automation SME Manager to ensure that the repairs and plans for the equipment are being developed and executed properly.
- Interacts with vendors as necessary or directed.
- Assists in tracking and documentation of preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Actively participates in safety meetings.
- Inventories, orders, stocks and issues equipment parts and chemicals to ensure they are available when needed.
- Obtains purchase orders as needed to replenish stock or replace parts.
- Performs on call duty as necessary.
- Be willing to obtain different licenses and certifications as needed.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Pass a medical and drug test.
- Physically capable of performing all duties and responsibilities assigned.
- Specifically, lift 50 pounds.
