Position DescriptionThe Media Associate has a vital role within our media activation teams, as their tasks lay the foundation for the media buying process. They provide administrative support in the stewardship of media buys across multiple media accounts through preliminary research on the availability of airtime/space in different media (TV, Radio, Digital, Out of Home), negotiation with networks and preparation of various documents related to media buying and consumption for different clients.

Position DescriptionThe Media Associate has a vital role within our media activation teams, as their tasks lay the foundation for the media buying process. They provide administrative support in the stewardship of media buys across multiple media accounts through preliminary research on the availability of airtime/space in different media (TV, Radio, Digital, Out of Home), negotiation with networks and preparation of various documents related to media buying and consumption for different clients.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Maintain and steward media buys on certain accounts.
- Support Media Buyer needs on all accounts.
- Request schedules, posts, tracking info, logs, etc. from Networks.
- Utilize buying systems to input schedules, produce post-buy analysis reports and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Maintain and track buy information and post reporting.
- Maintain contracts and billing (including resolving discrepancies) ensuring client and vendor invoices are processed in a timely manner.
- Recommend solutions to day-to-day stewardship issues.
- Develop and maintain knowledge and understanding of industry trends and innovative technologies that affect the buying discipline.
- Effectively communicate buy maintenance needs to vendors to get results in a timely manner.
- Create and issue reports to clients within deadlines.
- Bachelor’s Degree or above
- Marketing, Advertising, Communications background a strong plus
- Advanced knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Excel preferred
- Articulate with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organized and focused on attention to detail.
- A team player who can prioritize and juggle multiple tasks and who can maintain a positive attitude within a fast paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to build rapport and relationships with co-workers and within the media and advertising industry.
- Ability to integrate and work successfully with various agency teams, handle multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
- 1-2 previous experiences in an office environment preferred.
