EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :

  • Associate’s degree with 3 years of experience or equivalent
  • Advanced level of customer service within manufacturing environment
  • High level of technical problem-solving skills required SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, ETC :
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and MRP System Excel skills helpful
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills required both verbal and written
  • Proven skills in time management and multi-tasking responsibilities
  • Demonstrated ability to be self-directed and an independent problem solver
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Ability to expand work hours to meet deadlines and workload fluctuations PHYSICAL EFFORT :
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk intermittently for 8 hours
  • Ability to work on a PC as required

The Scheduling and Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating project schedules, confirming order details, and managing production schedules in our MRP system.

This role will collaborate with internal departments, external contacts, and production plants to ensure orders are released and deadlines are met.

Communications will most often be via email, telephone, and Microsoft Teams. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES and TASKS :

  • Communicate with customers bi-weekly to track project schedules and adjust production timelines.
  • Manage customer expectations, resolve scheduling conflicts, and coordinate delivery dates.
  • Assist with level loading and bottleneck scheduling in production facilities.
  • Coordinate plant jobs to ensure timely delivery by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Keep customers informed of schedule changes and negotiate logistics when necessary.
  • Create work orders for the production facilities in Dynamics AX.
  • Check-on any past-due orders and find resolution to them.
  • Manage and process all change order requests from internal and external sources.
  • Manage team email box
  • Back-up team members in their tasks.
  • Provide reports as needed.
  • Projects as assigned.
