**Overview:**
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and construction estimating, with the ability to negotiate contracts and ensure cost control measures are implemented effectively.
**Duties:**
- Analyze project specifications and blueprints to prepare accurate and timely estimates
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to gather necessary information for bids
- Utilize software such as Bid to win to create detailed cost estimates
- Negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to secure competitive pricing
- Monitor construction sites to assess progress and address any discrepancies in estimated costs
- Provide recommendations for cost-saving measures without compromising quality standards
**Experience:**
- Proven experience in construction estimating and project management
- Strong knowledge of cost control methods and techniques
- Familiarity with negotiating contracts and managing client relationships
- Proficiency in using construction estimating software such as B2W
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
