Everlast Roofing is Hiring a Human Resource Generalist Near Lebanon, PA

The ideal candidate will be responsible for new hire orientation and onboarding, employee termination, benefits, company policy and procedure adherence. In addition, you will build strong relationships with our company's managers in order to help them with their human resource needs. While providing administrative support to the Human Resource Manager this position supports daily administrative functions and special projects of the HR Department

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates the collection and verification of new hire onboarding and termination paperwork
  • Maintains necessary licenses/registrations active statuses for all employees
  • Administers new hire computer/phone/materials set up
  • Creates and maintains employee payroll/employment files
  • Provides and explains benefit enrollment and payroll documentation
  • Assists with annual benefit enrollment for group health, dental and employee voluntary benefits
  • Experience in payroll systems or willingness to learn
  • Post and maintain ads for open positions on job site and support recruiting efforts for managers
  • Audit employee files and other HR documentation and processes
  • Helps in the creation and maintenance of department SOP’s
  • Assist other departments and/or managers when needed
  • Perform other HR duties/administrative tasks as assigned
  • Assists HR Manager with investigations, taking notes and writing conclusions

Requirements/Preferred Experience:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Proven working experience in HR or admin setting
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Organizational follow through with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Trustworthiness and ability to keep strict confidentiality
  • Professional demeanor and positive attitude
  • Team player with excellent listening and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced exciting environment
  • Willingness to learn and up for a challenge
