Job Summary
The Project Manager I position facilitates the effective planning, management, and coordination of the company's projects of varying complexity, using industry-accepted project management methodologies and supportive tools throughout the entire project life cycle. This position will be an important component of all processes related to ensuring the successful prioritization, execution, launch, and status reporting of key projects and initiatives. The project manager facilitates cross-functional coordination to address dependencies and allocation of resources. This position will track project issues/risks/dependencies and effectively communicate them to team members and management.
Essential Functions

• Coordinate with stakeholders across departments to gather updates on the status of key initiatives
• Communicate progress updates on a consistent basis to ensure stakeholders are informed of the current target dates, project status, next milestones, and challenges/roadblocks
• Create project plans to track milestones, critical path tasks, resources, and dependencies
• Lead project stakeholder meetings to facilitate discussions that help keep the project on track, address any challenges facing the teams, gather updates, and ensure all teams are aligned on the targeted dates and the path forward
• Perform analysis of slipped or missed milestones and proactively work with project stakeholders and others to identify the appropriate courses of action; suggest escalation actions when appropriate
• Foster a collaborative project environment that generates openness and a passion for delivery
• Effectively communicate relevant project information to the project team and senior leadership
• Possess strong ability to stay organized and lead multiple projects at once
• Demonstrate ability to create presentations and to present publicly we needed
• Perform all other assigned duties as needed

Experience and Education

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work-related experience
• PMI certification(s) highly desired
• 1-3 years' technology-related project management experience
• Experience in facilitating efforts of "blended" teams (i.e., Product, Technology, Legal & Compliance, 3rd party vendors, etc.)
• Experience with various project management tools
• Demonstrated experience with various project execution and management methodologies
• Background in financial services or lending experience is a plus
• Fluent with Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook, as well as Visio or Lucid Charts
