Job DescriptionPOSITION DESCRIPTIONThe Research Analyst I supports market research projects by contributing to data collection tool development, assisting in project management tasks, participating in data analysis, and aiding in client presentation development. This role requires working closely with senior team members and utilizing guidance to perform assigned tasks effectively. The Research Analyst I is in the early stages of their career, building foundational skills and seeking opportunities to learn from experienced colleagues.
Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesOur employees are tasked with delivering excellent business results through the efforts of their teams. These results are achieved through:
  • Project Management: Assist in monitoring project timelines, offer updates on project status, assist in resolving basic fielding issues, and collaborate with the Operations team or external recruiters as required
  • Background Research: Assist in conducting background research, share findings with the team, and contribute to project development with guidance
  • Research Tools: Collaborate with team members to create quantitative and qualitative data-collection tools
  • Data Collection: Assist in conducting phone and in-person interviews under the guidance of senior team members
  • Research Plans: Contribute to the development of structured analysis frameworks and techniques under supervision
  • Quantitative Analysis: Contribute to the development of project deliverables by conducting basic statistical analysis
  • Qualitative Analysis: Assist in coding qualitative survey responses, identifying potential illustrative quotes, and supporting preliminary analyses to extract initial insights
  • Data & Insights’ Visualization: Support data analysis by assisting in creating charts, visuals, and other representations using appropriate software
  • Insights & Writing: Identify key-data findings and contribute to the organization of sections within final reports and PowerPoint presentations
  • Client Interactions: Assist in addressing client phone calls and inquiries related to research projects under supervision
  • Organizational Initiatives: Supports organizational initiatives throughout the firm, contributing to their success
  • Miscellaneous: Other duties as assigned
EXPECTATIONS OF THE JOBThe Analyst is expected to demonstrate the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a virtual team. This includes:
  • Availability:
    • Full- time, Monday through Friday
    • No travel
    • Frequent team calls
QualificationsMINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIESThe requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Marketing, Social Sciences)
  • Statistics/Method Knowledge: Basic familiarity with statistical concepts, research methods, and design
  • Project Management: Basic project management abilities
  • Communication: Basic verbal and written communication skills when interacting with colleagues and presenting ideas
  • Attention to Detail: Basic ability to apply attention to detail while implementing quality checks to ensure the accuracy and completeness of work
  • Work Under Pressure: Ability to adapt and maintain composure when faced with pressure, striving to troubleshoot and address identified problems
  • Team Player: Basic skills for participating in cross-operating group collaboration to support the achievement of firm-wide objectives, seeking guidance as needed
  • Work Independently: Capable of working independently and virtually, while maintaining communication and basic collaboration skills and managing a moderate workload and tasks
  • Growth Mindset: Exhibits an active interest in continuous professional growth and development
  • Research Experience: Exposure to basics of market research
  • Industry Knowledge: Basic familiarity with industry terminology or concepts would be beneficial
  • Computer Skills: Basic experience with MS Office and statistical software like Q, SPSS, or SAS
  • Ethical Practice: Establish and maintain ethical business practices, respecting diverse perspectives and values
  • Language Fluency: Fluent in English (both written and oral)
PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:The physical and mental requirements along with the work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an individual encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.
Office: While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is frequently required to reach, grasp, stand and/or sit for long periods of time (up to 90% of the shift), walk, talk and hear; occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet, with frequent interruptions and multiple demands.

EVERSANA is committed to providing competitive salaries and benefits for all employees. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $54,000 to $75,000 and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). EVERSANA reserves the right to modify this base salary range at any time.
