Eversource Energy is Hiring a Field Meter Mechanic III Near Keene, NH
Regular Duties:Installs, removes and changes single phase and polyphase self-contained watt-hour
meters.
Programs and reads solid state watt-hour meters.
Pre-wires metering devices under direction of a qualified employee.
Examines indicating instruments and test devices.
Tests single phase self-contained watt-hour meters.
Installs and removes recording voltmeters for polyphase meters under
direction.
Inspects single phase self-contained meter installations for compliance with
company requirements and for energy diversion.
Accesses on-line customer records, meter tracking, and other databases to obtain
necessary information.
Completes meter inventory as required.
Completes necessary paperwork.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Background:Required: Associate’s degree in industrial Electronics/Electricity or equivalent in
combined related education and experience.
Helpful: Electricians license, previous related metering, or instrumentation experience.

Required Skills:Understanding of and ability to apply electrical theory. Mechanical aptitude; manual and finger dexterity. The ability to: perform basic math functions; use hand and power tools; work without direct supervision and communicate effectively with the public.
License(s)/Certificate(s): Motor Vehicle Operator’s license required.
Source of Direction: Working Foreman-Field Meter, Meter Technical Supervisor.
