Eversource Energy is Hiring a Senior Engineer, Commissioning (Hybrid) Near Hooksett, NH
• Responsible for oversight to ensure substation projects are successfully tested and commissioned in accordance with industry and company standards with a high focus on safety, human performance, and overall system reliability.
• Responsible for project test data review, collection, and acceptance.
• Accountable for root-cause analysis, development and implementation of corrective actions relating to project commissioning, as needed.
• Responsible for project audits to ensure safety, human performance and compliance with standards and work methods are being met.
• Collaborates effectively with other engineering and project management disciplines to ensure consistency and teamwork.
• Supports the development and/or training of less experienced team members.
• May perform supervisory duties as needed or as assigned.
• May require work performed outside of normal business hours.
Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications:Technical Knowledge/Skill:
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively, use computers effectively, and write clearly/concisely.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology is required.
- A minimum of five (5) years of related experience is required. Substation Engineering, Power Systems, or related electric utility experience is highly preferred. Substation equipment testing and/or commissioning is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with substation equipment such as transformers, circuit breakers, switchgear and associated controls is desired.
- None
- Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required.
- Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.
