Job Description

Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney for our client in Fairlawn. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of legal cases, collaborate with experienced attorneys, and provide high-quality legal services to clients.
Salary:
  • $65,000-$75,000
Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent clients in legal proceedings, including trials, hearings, and depositions.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
  • Draft, review, and revise legal documents, including pleadings, motions, contracts, and agreements.
  • Manage and organize case files, ensuring all necessary documentation is up to date and readily accessible.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates, gather information, and address any concerns or questions.
  • Prepare and file court documents in compliance with applicable rules and deadlines.
  • Participate in negotiations and settlements on behalf of clients.
  • Work closely with senior attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure the effective handling of cases.
  • Stay current with changes in laws and regulations relevant to practice areas and participate in continuing legal education (CLE) opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to the bar and in good standing in Ohio.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-stress situations with professionalism.
