• Develop product requirement, feasibility, and design specifications, working cross functionally with R&D, Product Development, Supply Chain, and Operations. 

• Define site feasibility and risk assessment of EV charging product development opportunities. 

• Produce testing and validation guidelines to ensure the reliability and safety of EV charging product development. 

• Collaborate with Site Development, Grid Integration, and external engineering consultants to ensure product specification meets utility and regulatory requirements. 

• Establish standardized designs and specifications for product development as they pertain to new programs, technology selection, and regional requirements. 

• SME to provide technical guidance and support to internal and external stakeholders. Address technical inquiries and assist in resolving customer issues efficiently. 

• Take part in the review process for new technology evaluations as they pertain to incorporations in projects. 

• Ensure products comply with industry standards and regulations. Keep abreast of evolving standards and incorporate them into various product development phases.

• Identify and develop product budget and ensure completion within time and budget. 

• BS/ MS in Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering preferred. 

• Minimum of 5 years experience in product development, product management, applications engineering, in energy industry 

• Working knowledge of project cost estimation and commercially available estimating tools 

• Self-driven and capable of operating with minimum supervision. 

• Strong problem solving and data analytics skillset managing multiple projects and portfolio. 

• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to EV charging technology or renewable energy industry. 

For job positions in CA, CO, and NYC, the estimated salary range for a new hire in this position is $145,000 USD to $155,000 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
