Established Start Up: Senior Software Engineer, Data Platform

Hybrid (3 days onsite)

$150,000-170,000 (DOE) bonus

Evolution is partnering with a software company in the financial space who are looking for a Principal Software Engineer focusing on the Data Platform. This company focuses on building, delivering, and integrating technology for wealth managers.

This custom built platform has transformed it's industry, and it's a great time to join a rapidly growing team. They're working on two new spin out products for their clients, and it's an incredibly exciting time to be joining. As a Senior Engineer, we're looking for someone who is code first, with a strong software background working on data platforms.

Day to Day...

• Expertise building CI/CD pipelines to deploy data pipelines to cloud.
• Data migration approach to database deployments
• Experience with building infrastructure and applications on Microsoft Azure

Essential:

• 7 years of software engineering experience which includes building high volume distributed data processing applications on cloud.
• BS in Computer Science, Engineering and/or equivalent industry experience.
• Expert knowledge of Python, Spark, Databricks, database technologies, Kubernetes, Azure
• Understanding of Snowflake, data analytics and ML
• Experience implementing business critical database applications, micro-services and/or long-running backend data processing applications.
• Experience serving as technical expert throughout the full SDLC from conception, architecture definition, detailed design, scoping, planning, implementation, testing to documentation, delivery and maintenance.
