Evolve Healthcare is seeking a Med - Surg RN interested in Per Diem opportunities for a hospital that has many per diem open shifts in Inglewood, CA.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Med-Surg Registered Nurse. In this role you will be:

• Responsible for planning, executing and evaluating the nursing care given to Med/Surg patients.
• Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice.
• The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the Med/Surg/Telemetry Unit.
• Directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her assigned patients. He / She communicates with physician about changes in the patient’s clinical condition including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
• Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.

Qualifications:

• Valid California RN license
• Minimum of one (1) year experience as a Med/Surg RN.
• Current BLS (must be AHA)
• Current ACLS (must be AHA)
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
• Must have COVID vaccination
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals
• Strong commitment to reliability and punctuality
