Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Orthopedic Unit team. The ideal candidate will have a background in orthopedic nursing and a commitment to delivering high-quality care to patients.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients upon admission and throughout their stay, monitoring vital signs, pain levels, and overall condition.
• Develop individualized care plans based on patients' orthopedic conditions, ensuring appropriate interventions and treatments.
• Assist orthopedic surgeons during surgeries and procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about orthopedic conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of treatment.
• Administer medications as prescribed, monitor patients for adverse reactions, and provide education on medication management.
• Facilitate patient mobility and rehabilitation activities, working closely with physical therapists to promote recovery.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting patient assessments, interventions, and responses to treatment.

Qualifications:

• Valid California RN license
• Minimum of one (1) year experience as RN orthopedic nursing or related specialty
• Current BLS , ACLS certification required (must be AHA)
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
• Must have COVID vaccination
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals
• Strong commitment to reliability and punctuality
• Ability to work at least minimum of one(1) shift
