Job Description:
The Bank Operations Assistant Manager supports the Bank Operations Manager in the daily operations of the Deposit Operations, Loan Servicing, Open Banking Operations, Contact Center, Wire Desk and Branch Support teams. Provides day to day support for the Operations Managers and Staff.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities :
The Bank Operations Assistant Manager supports the Bank Operations Manager in the daily operations of the Deposit Operations, Loan Servicing, Open Banking Operations, Contact Center, Wire Desk and Branch Support teams. Provides day to day support for the Operations Managers and Staff.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities :
- Works with team members to develop and improve processes and procedures that meet compliance and legal targets and requirements.
- Works across departments and other business partners to manage the implementation of company's policy and procedures, to include the regulatory compliance and financial standards of internal, state, and regulatory exams and audits.
- Participates in industry and professional associations, and with peer bank counterparts to remain current on pertinent developments in the operations and compliance functions of banking.
- Maintains regulatory compliance and information security standards of Bank Operations Department.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Bachelor's degree with concentration in Business, Finance or Banking.
- 10 years Banking experience, with a strong background in Deposit and Loan operations preferred.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements related to deposit and loan products, including but not limited to wire and ACH processing.
- Strong communication skills and leadership talent.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and appropriately prioritize, as well as ability to work under pressure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with applicable computer software such as Microsoft Office and core banking software.
