The market leading infrastructure, water & energy recruiter is seeking Senior Safety Managers from a Construction / Water background to be based out of their clients Georgia site locations
Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity to join a market leading contractor client that works in the water industry across the US. In this role, you will work with project teams and executive leadership to plan and implement safety policies in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Job ResponsibilitiesWorks closely with the Project Teams and Executive Leadership to plan and implement safety policies in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations including OSHA and DOT
Plans and conducts safety training for our staff of over 600 Employees
Works with our project teams on best practice procedures and safety compliance
RequirementsCertified Safety Professional (CSP)/Bachelor's or Master's Degree in an EHS discipline/Construction Safety and Health Technician (CHST)/Graduate or Chartered Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH)/Occupational Safety and Health Technologist (OHST)/Safety Trained Supervisor - Construction (STS-C)/Associate Safety Professional (ASP)
Have a minimum of 5 years of qualified safety experience on similarly sized projects of a similar type of construction
Strong Team Player
Experience utilizing Microsoft products, Bluebeam, Procore, and other construction software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
