Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and improvements on buildings and equipment.
• General carpentry to include: paint walls; repair floors, doors, door locks and closets.
• Maintain the facility in optimal condition.
• Use common hand and power tools such as screwdrivers, saws, drills, wrenches, and hammers, as well as specialized equipment to replace or fix worn or broken parts
• Perform inside and outside maintenance duties.
• Assist with food & beverage setup as needed.
• Maintain and trouble-shoot the burglary alarm system devices in conjunction with the alarm monitoring services company.
• Contact and work with roofing company to address any water intrusion problems in our facilities.
• Asist IT and Technical Service departments with device installation and relocation, teaming up with electricians to relocate and/or create new electrical connections.
• Keep an inventory of reusable furniture and office equipment, installing and removing items as needed.
• Service and maintain all facilities equipment including but not limited to vacuums, scrubber machines, polishing and floor care equipment.
• Mentoring more junior employees without direct supervisory responsibilities
• Interpret or explain data or information to deliver messages within and outside of the department.
• Know and apply the Quality System and any appropriate Federal and International standards
• Assist and support other employees, teams and sales personnel as necessary

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required

• 4 years of maintenance experience required
• 2 years previous custodial experience preferred
