Responsibilities:

• Assign janitorial duties to staff and regularly inspect their work to ensure that established standards are met

• Issuing cleaning supplies and equipment to janitorial staff as needed. Taking inventory of all cleaning supplies and equipment and informing management when supplies are depleted

• Assist recruiting department with staffing needs

• Provide training and guidance to janitorial staff.

• Resolve conflicts between janitorial staff in an efficient manner

• Attend meetings and in-service training sessions as required.

• Perform all janitorial duties necessary

• Monitor staff attendance and report absences.

• Complete and submit all required paperwork including but not limited to quality

• reports, signoffs, and summary sheets.

• Make recommendations to upper management regarding promotions transfers and dismissals.

• Maintain quality standards

• Investigate and resolve clients’ complaints of missed or improperly cleaned areas.

• Overtime may be required, including weekends and holidays as needed.

• Assist with scheduling, project work, roll outs and Time and Attendance Platform.

• Assist with the completion of additional work orders if necessary.

Requirements:

• Full knowledge of the Janitor field

• Driver's License

• Special cleaning project knowledge preferred (strip and wax, carpet extraction)

• Supervisor experience
