Warehouse Operations Manager

Summary of duties :

This is a hands-on managerial role in a warehouse setting with tasks such as : Loading, unloading, and moving materials within the warehouse.

Shipping, receiving, delivery driving as needed, material handling, inventory control, staging, forklift operation, and order picking / packaging.

• Upselling to customers and displaying superior customer service skills.
• Handling the more technical or complex service questions from customers and applies judgment in resolving service, warranty, or technical problems.
• Ensuring that the warehouse operates at peak efficiency with customer satisfaction the primary goal by supervising, organizing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operational goals
• Developing warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory, basic maintenance, and shipping methods
• Train and manage the warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals
• Oversee daily operations while controlling and managing inventory and logistics.
• Review and prepare workflows, staffing requirements, space allocations, equipment layouts, and action plans that meet company standards for productivity, quality, and customer service
• Additional duties can include accounting, financials, technical support, purchasing, and sales.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards and procedures and by complying with legal regulations

Qualifications :

• Prefer some college courses in logistics and / or supply chain management
• Three or more years of experience in a warehouse / operations managerial role
• Proficiency with warehouse procedures and policies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities
• Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of company staff
• Ability to deliver effective feedback, both written and verbal
• Forklift experience / prefer certification
• Excellent computer skills and math proficiency
• Superior customer service skills required
• Clean MVR (driving record) required
• Ability to lift 50lbs independently

Schedule :

Monday - Friday, 8am to 4 : 30pm with overtime if / as needed

Pay :

$28.00 / hr to $36.00 / hr, DOE

Located in Denver, near I-25 & 44th Ave
