With a commitment to revolutionizing the way businesses manage their supply chains, they specialize in creating intelligent systems that optimize warehouse and distribution center operations. Their comprehensive suite of solutions encompasses automated material handling, warehouse management software, robotics, and analytics, enabling businesses to adapt and thrive in the rapidly evolving landscape of modern logistics.
They are in the process of implementing an enhanced strategy to further diversify into new verticals as well as increasing their capabilities to excel at larger projects. Due to this, our client is seeking a Sr. Director of Solutions Design/Architecture to shape and lead the consulting team in the Americas. The team is focused on creating great solutions for their customers and enabling the sales teams to win business. This leader will oversee a team of 25 solution architects and engineers which will grow to 35-40 shortly.
The Sr Director will formulate and execute a strategy targeting the NA market that will lead to increasing NA market share. This may include reviewing and improving current designs, identifying more cost effective and profitable solutions and leading consultative/engineering studies for customers that can lead to new RFP’s.

  • Customer Focus -work very closely with our customers, reviewing their needs, gathering available data and consulting with them to propose the most appropriate solutions for their needs and budget.
  • Data Driven - key to our success are customer solutions that meet the needed performance and design criteria. You will ensure clear data driven solutions and organizational buy-in to ensure we deliver on our promises.
  • Team Management - leverage leadership skills and experiences to continuously improve the consulting function. Identify any skills gaps in the team and create plans to fill those gaps through planned structured internal development and external recruitment.
  • Culture of Performance- through your leadership you will build a high-performance focused team that celebrates achieving great results and that others look to for inspiration.
  • Create Alignment -assure that the consulting team is fully aligned and working effectively with all other teams in the region, creating a cooperative environment to ensure we produce winning solutions.
  • Building Global Competence - you will work closely with other global consulting and systems teams to build a body of knowledge that can be re-used across regions.
  • Building the future - gather new market requirements through the consulting practice and feed these into the global product organization.
  • Represent the Company - as an expert in the warehousing industry you will represent the company when needed at tradeshows or conferences to share industry trends and company solutions.
  • Reporting - you will setup and drive transparent reporting of the group’s activities to ensure we are delivering on time and in full, and ensuring the group enables the sales organization.
What they are seeking:
  • BS/MS degree in Engineering or related field plus a minimum of 10 years experience in a global top 10 logistics automation company.
  • Strong knowledge of the NA market; proven track record of winning proposals and experience with engineering/consulting studies.
  • Strong engineering/technical background
  • Leadership experience in a B2B consulting role, ideally within the logistics industry.
  • Excellent leadership skills and ability to set direction and develop the team. This includes prior experience leading large teams and scaling up a team for growth. A positive and energic person that people want to follow.
  • Strong client facing skills with the ability to engage high profile customers
  • Strategic mindset and high business acumen along with strong executive presence .
