Description

• Conduct research and formulate action plans to address regional economic opportunities and risks for LNG derived from global events impacting energy security.
• Forecast economic variables and incorporate to company’s outlook efforts through financial models and cost-benefit analyses.
• Supervise and develop economic and financial models to assess project- and portfolio-level valuations, metrics, and associated impact on earnings utilizing knowledge of gas to power projects and natural gas market, procurement and hedging strategies.
• Formulate and quantify short and medium-term resource needs, such as capital expenditures, development budgets, and M&A.
• Utilize experience with Monte Carlo simulation, economic profit scenario analysis, and supporting statistical techniques to enhance decision making.
• Study and monitor US monetary policy, worldwide political landscape and country economic/monetary policy and explain the effects in countries of operation.
• Lead, supervise and maintain long-term strategic economic models.
• Coordinate the gathering, analysis, summarization, and preparation of recommendations regarding economic strategy, commercial development, acquisition activity, and business planning.
• Develop and coordinate global market development strategy.
• Lead efforts to develop, supervise and report on project development processes.

Requirements

Master’s in Business Administration plus 5 years of experience with economic analysis and financial models in the oil and gas industry, as well as knowledge of gas to power projects and natural gas market, procurement and hedging strategies
