Currently we are looking for a qualified individual to work as a Business Analyst- Junior with our direct clientin Raleigh NC.

• The Business Analyst will function in a support role for the State Laboratory of Public Health (SLPH) Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and associated data systems that connect to LIMS.
• As part of the quality assurance (QA) team, this role will work with the LIMS Manager as support for SLPH QA and with the Division’s Information Technology team and all laboratory units at SLPH. This role will interact with the Division’s Information Technology (IT) team to monitor efficiency of operations in areas related to system implementation, software configuration, and maintenance.

Skills

• IT functionality knowledge at it relates to the operations and testing requirements of a clinical laboratory setting.
• Knowledge of HL7. Desired
• Knowledge of technical operations and policy development associated with a laboratory information management system (LIMS). Desired
• Knowledge regarding development and support of programming code in languages such as Java, JavaScript, MS SQL, PLSQL, Web Services, SOAP, and XML. Nice to have
