Position: Director of Nursing (DON)

Location: Nassau County, NY

Salary: $165,000 - $180,000

As the DON, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our mission of providing exceptional care and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the daily operations of the Nursing Department, ensuring compliance with all relevant rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Develop, maintain, and update policies and procedures for the Nursing Department.
• Participate in the Facility’s quality assurance program to ensure the highest standards of care.
• Assist in facility surveys and inspections conducted by authorized government agencies.
• Conduct daily rounds to ensure nursing staff meet performance and care standards.
• Address and resolve complaints and grievances filed by department personnel.

Qualifications:

• Current license and registration as a Registered Nurse in Florida.
• Minimum of 2 years of progressive nursing experience in Long Term Care with managerial responsibilities.
• Proven leadership and management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
