Excelsior Collage is Hiring an Integration Developer Near Albany, NY

We are seeking a motivated Integration Developer to join our team and embark on an exciting journey in the field of integration development. As a Integration Developer, you will work closely with experienced developers and architects to design, develop, and implement data integration solutions that enable seamless communication between systems and applications within our organization. This role offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with limited professional experience to gain hands-on experience in the field of integration development.
This is a full-time hybrid role with a minimum of two required days at Excelsior's home office of 7 Columbia Circle, Albany, NY, with the remainder of the days worked from home.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Learning and Development: Participate in training programs and mentorship opportunities to build your skills and expertise in integration development concepts, tools, and technologies.
•Solution Design Support: Assist senior developers and architects in analyzing business requirements and designing data integration solutions that meet organizational needs and objectives.
•Development Assistance: Collaborate with the development team to implement data integration workflows, mappings, and transformations using integration tools and programming languages.
•Testing and Quality Assurance: Support the testing and quality assurance process for data integration solutions, including unit testing, integration testing, and debugging activities.
•Documentation: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of documentation for data integration processes, including system architecture, data flows, and integration specifications.
•Troubleshooting: Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to data integration workflows, processes, and configurations as they arise.
•Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and business stakeholders, to gather requirements, define integration needs, and deliver solutions that meet business objectives.

•Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
•Basic Programming Skills: Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or SQL, and the ability to learn new languages and technologies quickly.
•Understanding of web services (SOAP, REST), XML, JSON, and other relevant integration protocols and formats.
•Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand and analyze complex integration requirements and issues.
•Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.
•Team Player: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, contribute to team goals, and support colleagues in achieving project objectives.
•Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet project deadlines.
The hiring salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $89,000.00. The hiring salary range above represents the University's good faith estimate at the time of posting.
