Excelsior Defense is looking for a part time to protect our client's premises, assets and personnel. You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions and maintain access control into the property. Doing rounds, scanning in different points throughout the property in the housing contract.

The Officer needs to be prompt with patrolling the community to making sure everything is safe.

Part time: 9 pm to 5am Saturday and Sunday

Qualification:

• Protect company's property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
• observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
• Act lawfully in direct defense or life or property
• Apprehend criminals and evict violators
• Report in detain any suspicious incidents
• Report writing

Skills Required:

• Proven work experience as a security officer or relevant position
• Valid Class D Security License and Valid Class G License active with the State of Florida (Must have both license active)
• Ability to operate detective systems and emergency equipment
• Have excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
• Surveillance skills and detail orientation
• Integrity and professionalism
• Detailed report writing
• Must have own weapon

Base Rate: $17.25 hour

Upon offer of employment, you will be required to submit a drug screening, along with a background run.
