Excelsior Defense is Hiring an Unarmed Security Guard Near Felda, FL
Job Title: Unarmed Security Guard
Locations: Lehigh Acres, FL and Fort Myers, FL
Shifts Available: 7 days per week including Weekends and Holidays. Each shift will have 2 guards.
- 7 AM to 3 PM
- 3 PM to 11 PM
- 11 PM to 7 AM
Compensation: $18 per hour
Job Description:
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Unarmed Security Guards to join our team in Lehigh Acres and Fort Myers, FL. The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment and ensuring the safety of the property and its occupants. This role requires vigilance, professionalism, and a proactive approach to security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Access Control: Monitor and control access points to the property, ensuring authorized personnel are granted entry and unauthorized individuals are denied access.
- Roving the Property: Patrol the premises regularly to detect and deter any suspicious activities or potential security breaches.
- Firewatch: Remain alert and vigilant to detect any signs of fire or hazards and respond according to established procedures.
- Damage Control: Identify and report any damages or security concerns, and take appropriate action to mitigate risks.
Requirements:
- 2 years of Security Experience required.
- Must possess a Valid Driver's License.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
