Excelsior Search is Hiring a Head of Sales - Private Markets SaaS Near New York, NY

Job Details

This is a great international sales management opportunity with an established global fintech company that offers an impressive range of front, middle and back-office solutions for both the public and private markets for banks, asset managers, hedge funds, fund administrators, insurance companies and private equity companies etc. With a great client base and an entrepreneurial growth culture, they are looking for a proven new business sales leader for their private equity investment solutions team located in both the USA and Europe.

Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Oversee a team of 10 sales professionals based in the USA and UK.
- Strategy Development: Develop and own comprehensive strategies to advance the private equity SaaS business unit.
- Quota Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team to surpass revenue quotas.
- Market Analysis: Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and drive growth.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and other departments to align and support sales initiatives.
- Process Improvement: Further develop sales processes and tools to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
- Pipeline & Performance Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on sales performance, forecasts, and pipeline management to senior management.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the sales team.

Experience:
- Domain: Ideally experience leading sales for a private markets / private equity SaaS provider, although our client will consider other investment technology market areas.
- Sales Achievements: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding team sales targets and revenue goals.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of sales principles and practices, with the ability to effectively coach others.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative abilities; adept at using data and metrics to guide decision-making.
- Team Influence: Demonstrated capability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Leadership: Exceptional leadership and team-building skills.
- Strategic Planning: Expertise in developing and executing strategic sales plans that align with overall business objectives, fostering sustainable growth and market expansion.
