Exceptional Family Resources is seeking a support staff to work with a young woman in the Chittenango and Fayetteville areas. She loves animals, especially dogs. She enjoys going to the zoo, The Wild, the library and going out to eat. She is looking for a dedicated staff person to provide services on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3 pm -5 or 6 p, flexible on weekends. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing transportation and support during community outings, assisting her with tasks in her home and at her volunteer sites, encourage healthy eating habits, exercise, and support with life skills. Staff are reimbursed for their activities and mileage during service time.
We are looking for individuals who are reliable, patient, and enthusiastic. Prior experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities a plus. Reliable vehicle and a driver's license are required.
There is potential for additional hours as well. The pay rate is $20.00 per hour. EFR is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
