Exceptional Family Resources is seeking Direct Support Professionals to work in the Syracuse area with a teenager with Autism and communication challenges. His family is looking for dedicated staff to provide respite services to get him off the bus and engage in activities with him in his home. He has an interest in electronics, especially his iPad. He also likes movies, Youtube videos, and theme songs as well as shooting baskets and playing games.
We are looking for individuals who are reliable, patient, enthusiastic, and respectful. Prior experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities a plus. Reliable transportation required.
Work hours:
Weekday afternoons and alternating weekends. Flexible hours; will be discussed with the family.
Rate of pay: $22
In efforts to continue to recruit and retain the best staff, Exceptional Family Resources is pleased to announce the 2024 Employee Retention Bonus. The first bonus will be a payment equal to 3% of wages earned from 1/21/2024 to 6/8/2024. The second bonus will be a payment equal to 3% of wages earned from 6/9/2024 to 11/9 /2024.
