Job Duties:

• Directs nursing service activities
• Delegates responsibilities to auxiliary and staff nurses; supervises preparation and maintenance of patient clinical records, and writes reports on staff performance and services rendered
• Maintains pre-set inventory standards for solutions, supplies, medicines and equipment, and keeps track of narcotics
• Communicate with physicians about changes in patient's status, symptomatology, and results of diagnostic studies
• Able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment
• Maintain awareness of current operational policies and procedures which impact position responsibilities
• Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets
• Demonstrate comprehensive, professional knowledge and skills in conformation with nursing standards including the Patient Bill of Rights standards for patient care and the Nurse Practice Act
• Provide direct patient care, evaluate outcomes, consult with other specialists as required for optimal patient care
• Ability to perform head-to-toe assessment or reassessments on all patients as per policy

Requirements:

• Associates Degree or Nursing Diploma
• Ability to fluently read and speak English
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse without sanctions
• Current BLS, ACLS
• 4 years of full-time RN experience in Med/Surg or 4 years combined experience in related positions
• 1 years in a supervisor role preferred

Shift Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• All shift
• Weekend availability
• Monday to Friday
• Holidays
