Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• 6-8 years of experience in bioinformatics, data engineering, or related roles.
• Proficiency in programming languages Ex: Python, R, or Java.
• Experience with data processing frameworks and tools (e.g., Apache Spark, Hadoop).
• Strong knowledge of bioinformatics databases, tools, and resources (e.g., NCBI, Ensembl, UCSC Genome Browser).
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex data findings to a non-technical audience.
