Roles and Responsibilities:
- Resolving day-to-day technical issues related to machine operations.
- Continuous development of machining processes/ techniques using CAM programming techniques.
- Collect data and analyze the use of production equipment, labor, and machinery.
- Identify improvement opportunities in machining processes and techniques, develop improvement plans, and oversee implementation and monitoring of refined processes.
- Lead the charge in cultivating a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or industrial engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Process Improvement Engineer or similar role.
- Working knowledge of CNC machining and programming using software like NX, MASTERCAM etc.
- Previous work experience in a Die and Mold industries would be an asset.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving and mathematics skills.
- Ability to fact find and come up with viable and results oriented solutions.
- Demonstrate innovation and curiosity.
- Ability to prioritize, multitask and lead multiple projects simultaneously,
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders in a multicultural environment.
- Possess teamwork and strong people management skills.
