ExecuSource is Hiring a Human Resources Administrator Near Niles, MI

ExecuSource has partnered with a manufacturing company in the search for a Human Resources Administrator in the Niles, MI area. As a Human Resources Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting HR functions and ensuring smooth operations within the department. Responsibilities include maintaining employee records, processing payroll, assisting with recruitment and onboarding processes, administering benefits programs, and handling HR inquiries. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and confidentiality are essential for success in this role.

This is a 4 month contract-to-hire position. Schedule is M-F 8a-5p. Compensation is $60k-$70k depending on experience.

What you get to do:

  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
  • Assist in recruitment efforts, including job postings and scheduling interviews.
  • Process payroll and ensure accurate and timely payment.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and assist with inquiries.
  • Support the onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Handle HR-related inquiries from employees and external parties.
  • Prepare HR-related reports and documents as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.

What you need to succeed:

  • Proven experience as an HR Administrator, HR Assistant, or similar role.
  • Knowledge of HR functions, processes, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in HR software and MS Office (especially Excel and Word).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred.
