Pay Rate: $25/hr
IMMEDIATE TEMP Accounts Receivable Credit and Collections Analyst position available. We are currently representing a well known manufacturing company in Montgomery, Alabama seeking an Accounts Receivable Credit and Collections Analyst to join their team on a contractual basis, with an opportunity to go permanent, based on performance.
The Accounts Receivable Credit and Collections Analyst is responsible for the review, analysis, and collection of accounts receivable for assigned customers within adherence to corporate credit and collection policies.
Duties
- Maintains up-to-date and complete credit files.
- Secures the necessary documentation or information required to ensure there is adequate credit data in each file to facilitate accurate and timely credit decisions.
- Reviews and takes action on all customer accounts assigned to ensure that cash and credit memos are applied appropriately and past due and/or disputed items are followed up for payment or resolution in a timely basis.
- Works with Claims Department on resolution of deductions and claims for assigned accounts.
- Provides other Division personnel with timely information regarding the current status of credit/collection activities in progress.
- Recommends severely delinquent accounts for placement with a collection agency.
- Recommends, approves or denies open account credit and establish appropriate credit limits for each customer within corporate credit guidelines and assigned limit of credit authority.
