Our client is a very well-established, mid-sized, and privately-owned food manufacturing company that has hired us to seek out a Director of Quality for their Reading, PA location.
This position reports to the CEO and is responsible for leading the Quality Assurance department to achieve product quality, customer satisfaction, and profitability goals.
The ideal candidate will have experience:
- Developing and executing corporate quality programs
- Managing Quality Management Systems
- Ensuring compliance with GMP and food safety requirements
- Maintaining SQF Food Safety systems
- BS Degree
- 10 years of food manufacturing quality leadership experience
- Expert-level knowledge of AIB, FDA, USDA, and SQF regulations and standards
